The annual Athlete of the Week Banquet was held on Tuesday, May 25th at the Best Western Westminster Conference Center. About 220 people attended--student athletes, their parents, coaches, athletic directors, principals, and school administrators, as well as representatives from the sponsors, Barnes Service Center and Bridgestone Tire, and the staff of WTTR. Sports Director Charlie Beckhardt presented the awards to the fall sports season athletes.

WTTR Station Manager Bob Mathers MC'ed the banquet and presented the awards to the spring sports season Athletes of the Week. 

Athlete of the Week Award Program host Robin Temple presented the awards to the Winter season athletes.

Ryan Dingle attended the banquet and spoke on behalf of his dad, the late Dwight Dingle, creator of the Athlete of the Week Award Program and long-time host of the show.

At the end of the evening, Century High School's Maura Linde and Francis Scott Key High School's Tommy Butler were named the WTTR/Barnes Service Center/Bridgestone Tire Athletes of the Year!
