Church to hold Easter services

Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 4901 Woodbine Road, Winfield, invites the public to celebrate Easter at Holy Week worship services.

An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, on the second floor of the Food Pantry Building, for infants to fifth grade, and include crafts, games, snacks and egg hunt. The community is welcome. Contact Julie Jones at 410-795-2890 or juliejones3@comcast.net for information.

Palm Sunday worship will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. April 14.

Maundy Thursday Communion service will be at 7:30 p.m. April 18. A Good Friday Tenebrae service will be held at 7:30 p.m. April 19.

Easter Sunday, April 21, will begin with a Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at the Krimgold Park pavilion on Woodbine Road. The church youth will lead the service.  Coffee and doughnuts will be served afterward. Traditional Easter worship to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary.  Sunday school will be held at 9:45 a.m. Easter Sunday.
