Look no further!!! The 82nd annual Maryland House and Garden Pilgrimage will be in Carroll County Sunday May 19th.
15 historically significant homes in Westminster, Taneytown, Keymar and Uniontown will be open to the public from 10 until 5 o’clock. The tour includes Antrim 1844, Terra Rubra (the home of Francis Scott Key), Glenburn, The Ludwick-Rudisel House and Tannery and a walking tour of Uniontown! Proceeds from the tour will be for preservation projects of Historic Uniontown, Inc., specifically the Old Academy building. Lunch is available at the Uniontown United Methodist Church by advance registration, as well as a bake sale of home baked goodies. The Old Store in Uniontown will be open and selling penny candy. A trolley will be running for your pleasure on Baltimore and Frederick Streets in Taneytown, with popcorn and ice cream venders on the street.
