Molly Thomas excelled at libero in a five-set match with Manchester Valley and a three-set

sweep of Francis Scott Key. For the week the senior had 13 aces, 36 serve receives, and 28

digs, giving her more than 170 digs for the season.

Boys Soccer

The Knights allowed just one goal for the week in capturing their second county championship

in the last four seasons. Junior Carter Simmen was critical to a strong defensive effort from his

center fullback position. Century defeated Winters Mill 3-1, blanked Oakdale 4-0, and held off

the potent Liberty offense in a tense 1-0 matchup to raise their overall record to 10-2 (6-0

county).
