The Orioles take on AL East rivals Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays....and the Ravens wrap up their pre-season play with a trip to St. Louis on Thursday night to play the Rams. Meanwhile, prep and college football kick off this weekend. South Carroll plays Francis Scott Key Friday night at 6:30, and McDaniel starts their season with a game against Juniata Saturday at 12:30 PM.

At the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association Convention held recently in Ocean City, Mark Woodworth and Robin Temple accepted two awards on behalf of the station, one for Outstanding Year Round Local Sports Coverage, and one for Outstanding Sports Feature for the Athlete of the Week Award Show.
