WTTR is Carroll County’s local radio station and trusted voice. Broadcasting on AM 1470 and FM 102.3, 93.5, we serve our community with classic hits, local information, and a commitment to keeping residents informed, entertained, and connected. Proudly locally owned and operated, WTTR has spent decades building relationships across the county, becoming a familiar presence in homes, cars, businesses, and community spaces.

As the “Voice of Carroll County,” our mission is to serve the community . We share the music people grew up with, highlight community stories, spotlight local student-athletes, cheer on the Baltimore Orioles, and provide traffic, weather, and public-interest updates that matter to our listeners. With more than 40,000 weekly adult listeners, our reach spans the entire county and continues to grow steadily each year.

Our roots in Carroll County run deep since 1952 and more recently since 2014 WTTR has donated over two million dollars in airtime to support local nonprofits, schools, first responders, veterans, special events, and community organizations. We believe a local station should do more than broadcast — it should serve the community’s needs.

From sponsorships and partnerships to on-air events and charitable support, WTTR remains dedicated to being present wherever local life happens. Whether it’s a high school game, a community fundraiser, a local business milestone, or an important announcement, WTTR is there to share it.
